In our modern lives there is little emphasis on relaxation. Yoga Nidra is done lying on your back with eyes closed while the instructor puts you into a very relaxed state of being.

The practice works on the central nervous system and helps to relax the body from the inside out. During the practice you will remain completely still and your brain waves will move into an alpha state. Yoga Nidra has been medically proven to help with anxiety, PTSD, depression and addiction.
Additional Information
To enhance your practice, you may wish to have a blanket to cover up and a bolster or pillow to place under your legs.

You will want to be in a space where you will not be disturbed with the lights very low.

Hi There! My name is Cindy and I'm the author of the book, "Boost Your Immune System". I'm also a yoga, qigong and flexibility instructor. My signature program is helping women prevent and reverse Osteoporosis naturally. Back in 2010 I was diagnosed with Osteopenia. I was frustrated and confused.
